Lisa Riffel has been singing in the Oregon Repertory Singers for ten years since moving to Portland from the Los Angeles area. In that time she graduated with a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at Portland State University and is now in her eighth year of teaching choral music at Lincoln High School. Under her leadership the Lincoln choir program has toured both nationally and internationally and consistently receives high scores at local festivals and adjudications. In addition to singing with ORS, Lisa also sings professionally with the Trinity Episcopal Chamber Singers and other choral ensembles in town. As artistic director, Ethan Sperry has said, “Sight-singing is her superpower.” Lisa and her husband Andy reside in NE Portland and together they enjoy singing and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. They are expecting their first child in January of next year!
